  While I was in law school (2003), my mentor, Frank Bailey, allowed me to sit second chair on a trial in Jonesboro, Arkansas. It was a wrongful death trial with a very sad situation. The trial was scheduled for several days. I was extremely nervous. I wanted everything to go just right.

  This last month, our firm has been working extremely hard on several cases. Our trial team has been away from the office, away from our families, and away from our day to day lives. As I reflect on this time we have spent working and traveling, my favorite aspect is spending all of this time with our clients. When we spend days and days with our client in trial or at a long hearing, we get to know these folks at new level. When you have been in the trenches together you bond and develepe a friendship that is special.

  As the number of Salmonella related illnesses nears 1,000, Officials from the Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are still searching for the cause of the Salmonella outbreak. According to the FDA, tomatoes still top the list as the prime suspect, but investigators are looking into other ingredients found in salsa.

Researchers at Center for Health, Environment, and Justice found that the curtains contained high concentrations of chemicals that are linked to liver damage as well as damage to the central nervous, respiratory, and reproductive systems.
