Each day we are reminded of how precious life truly is. Last week Allison Paige Davis, 9, of Anderson, Missouri, died from injuries sustained after being struck by a motor vehicle.

We all have ideas about how we might handle an emergency. And we're probably wrong. People who are leaders---or basket cases---in everyday life often won't behave that same way in a crisis. But we do know there are ways to become more resilient, and they don't all involve luck or prayer (although those are good too).

A Magazine, Arkansas, native died late Thursday night in a head-on collision in Logan County. Scott Allen Rogers, 39, died when another individual’s Jeep left the road on a curve, was over-corrected, and then crossed back across the road, hitting Rogers' car head-on. This unfortunate event should be a reminder to all of us that over-correcting can lead to an accident. People who drive SUV’s and teens are the most susceptible to over-correcting which can lead to both head-on collisions and rollovers.

There is a reason Arkansas adopted the state motto "The Natural State." Arkansas roads traverse hills and mountains which provide travelers opportunities to enjoy scenic views while driving to their destinations. However, with these hills and mountains come curvy roads that require drivers to pay particular attention to safety for themselves and others. Recently a Harrison man was killed and...

The U.S. Department of Transportation found that the Tornado Bus Driver driving in the November 25th accident on I-40 near Forest City had been driving too many hours. Allopathic physicians like those found in...
