Baseball, apple pie, and Wal-Mart-how much more American can you get? Yet the All-American Wal-Mart just recently made a potentially killer toy, Aqua Dots, one of its list of 12 top Christmas toys. How can we as consumers know that toys we buy our innocent children are potential killers? Aqua Dots are just the latest in a list of Chinese produced toys to be marked by the Consumer Product Safety Commission as dangerous and toxic to unsuspecting consumer.

Scientists have found the popular toys are coated with a chemical that once metabolized in a child's body, converts into the toxic "date rape" drug GHB or gamma-hydroxy butyrate. This chemical causes seizures, comas, and potential death. The younger the person ,the more serious the effects. Since the arts and crafts beads, Aqua Dots, are aimed at children as young as 4 years of age, the danger is potentially deadly.
