Those of us who make InjuryBoard part of our daily lives (and pretty much anyone who watches the evening news) are familiar with the growing MRSA problem. MRSA -- short for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus-- is commonly found in hospitals, nursing facilities, and other long-term care facilities. My wife, who serves as the Director of Social Services for a nursing home in our area has told me that her facility tests its residents regularly and requires testing of any hospital patient that seeks to be admitted. Given the growing prevalence of this affliction in our hospitals, this is a prudent step in the admission process.

However, MRSA has branched out... according to the Center for Disease Control, MRSA is becoming an increasing problem among junior high and high school athletes, particularly, among football players. The CDC states that that football training camps provide a setting where multiple risk factors converge to increase the likelihood of MRSA outbreaks. These risk factors include sharing towels, soap and other personal items, and inadequate care of skin wounds among players. Crowded living conditions also appeared to be a risk factor. Also, the investigators found that the players' body mass index (BMI) — the ratio of weight to height commonly used to assess obesity — correlated with an increased risk of MRSA infection. Finally, body shaving and "turf burns" also seem to raise football players' risk of contracting MRSA.

There are several measures that can be taken to prevent MRSA skin infections in sports participants, CDC officials note, such as designing processes and facilities to enable and promote optimal player hygiene, and better educating coaching staff, and especially players, on recognizing potential infections and what to do about them.

Community-acquired MRSA infection typically causes abscesses or areas of inflammation on the skin, though in some cases it can also lead to more serious problems such as pneumonia and blood infection.

Hello everyone,

Our family was viciously attacked by MRSA and we nearly lost all of our lives.
We almost lost our oldest son to it within 72 hrs.
MRSA also attacked my youngest son and myself.
The boils that my son's had grew to the size of small grapefruits and destroy the flesh in the surrounding area.

As you can imagine we were horrified. We sought out medical intervention and antibiotics failed to help. our doctor threw several antibiotics at my son's infection. The antibiotics failed to keep the infection from coming back.
After speaking to an infectious disease doctor, doing my own research and networking with others struggling with MRSA,
I came to the conclusion that MRSA is rapidly evolving and becoming resistant to all antibiotics.
At that point we decided to run from this vicious cycle of throwing antibiotics at an antibiotic resistant infection.
We prayed and researched until we found something that would save our family.
MRSA was literally eating away at us and what we found stopped MRSA from killing us. It is called Allimed, stable allicin.
This is the first time in history that allicin in garlic has been stabilized.
Since we used Allimed we did not need further medical care though we informed our doctors of our decision and continued under their observation.
We dealt with MRSA ourselves and have not had it return for any of us in 3 years.
Before using Allimed the boils were coming every few weeks.

If we are to survive this era of resistant bacteria, then we will have to think outside the box. What once saved us from infections (antibiotics), is now killing us. The very nature of antibiotics encourage bacterial resistance.
Shortly after Penicillin was discovered, bacteria became resistant and now we find ourselves in the vicious cycle of throwing more and more antibiotics at resistant bacteria. More ...

We must see that the era of antibiotic success is now leaving us. If we don't have our eyes wide open, mankind may not survive this pandemic.
I hope our story will help to save lives as our family was saved.
Since our family's recovery, we have been helping others to recover worldwide.
I welcome emails from anyone who wants our help.
God bless, Cathy

Protect your family from MRSA

"Think Outside Inside"
"Natural germ killing, odor reducing processes found in sunlight and thunderstorms are recreated in the home."

Laboratory studies conducted at Kansas State University have scientifically concluded our "ActivePure Technology" inactivated MRSA Staph 99.99% with about 97% of that kill in just two hours! Reducing dust, pollen, smoke, gases, cooking and pet odors, bacteria, salmonella, ecoli, mold spores, viruses and many other airborne contaminants, while reducing asthma triggers and allergies. Eliminating germs on kitchen counter top surfaces, cafeteria and playtime areas, restrooms, locker rooms, gymnasiums, and exercise equipment.

Officially recognized by NASA Certified Space Technology "ActvePure" with "SurfaceGuard" reduces dust, second hand smoke, pet odors, kills germs, bacteria, mold spores and viruses on surfaces by sanitizing the entire indoor environment 24/7. You can clean a hospital or school all day long, but if one outbreak occurs in the same day as the cleaning process... the infectious disease becomes active again. 24 hour protection is the only way to prevent MRSA and other diseases from spreading.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, health care-associated infections account for an estimated 1.7 million infections and 99,000 associated deaths each year in American hospitals. Over the years, the bacteria, identified as Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), have grown increasingly resistant to antibiotics.

I receive MRSA Alerts on my computer every day. There is “an alarming nationwide increase” in the prevalence of MRSA infections in children. The reason I follow up on MRSA Alerts is because I am also a very concerned parent and want to see more being done to safeguard our children and educators. So, I am going to all local and private schools, hospitals and nursing homes in my area offering free demonstrations.

My main goal is to help educate parents, students, teachers, and medical staff just how important it is to have this technology in place, to first of all protect our children and loved ones, secondly to bring about a sense of public awareness that there are real solutions.

"ActivePure" technology not only helps to protect the entire education system and medical profession from increasing lawsuits and rising medical costs, it also can, and will save lives.

The beauty of these units is that they are lightweight, portable and can be conveniently taken anywhere you go. We also offer "DuctWoRx" to provide clean, fresh, sanitized air, continuously throughout an entire school, nursing home, or hospital.

Very popular and affordable holiday gifts for college students, or a great surprise for Mom and Dad. Ideal for asthma and allergy sufferers. Just think of the difference it can make in your home or business.

Our "FreshAir" purifiers are in many residences. schools, hospitals and nursing homes around the world and they are the most cost effective air purification systems found in today's marketplace. MRSA is everywhere and most likely somewhere in your own home.

See for yourself, how breathing, sleeping, and feeling better can enhance your families quality of life and provide peace of mind in knowing you have the power to reduce illnesses and infectious diseases in your home by simply preventing them.

Please feel free to call or E-mail me with any questions that you may have.

Protecting High School and Colegiate Athletes from MRSA:

High School and Collegiate athletics face huge challenges in protecting hundreds of athlete’s a day from MRSA, staph and athlete’s foot. You can’t spray down the wresting mat hourly, and you can’t very well spray the locker room benches, door pulls, lockers, shower knobs after every use. Who knows if the guy before you sat upon the bench naked while pulling off his shoes or socks – and you can bet he didn’t spray down the bench after. At most, he wiped it with a cloth towel already teeming with his sweat and germs.

One great solution is an all-green hard surface anti-microbial spray called PureGreen24.
It is completely green, kills MRSA, Staph and all the rest, BUT it is EPA rated safe enough for use on children’s toys. Plus, it kills germs for up to 24 hours after application.
This stuff is proven effective on all the worst germs. You can’t wish MRSA away. You have stay vigilant. PureGreen24 is made to help you stay on guard. Check it out at J&S Hygiene More ...
