All drivers should be more careful when driving around a semi truck.
Since 1980, truckers have traveled 42% more miles with a 50% accident fatality rate during the same period. This means that there is more to be done concerning trucking safety and more drivers should drive as safe as Mr. Ewell. Unfortunately, as the statistics indicate not all drivers are this safe.
Everyday there are approximately 3 million trucks on the road. As you drive your normal vehicle, please be careful and watch out for these big rigs because an 80,000 pound vehicle will cause major damage.
